VetsCAN Connections for a Cause
Promoting VA-Community Coalition
Join VetsCAN for a panel conversation about meeting veterans’ basic needs and how we can better meet the community’s needs. Following the panel conversation, we will engage in intentional networking events, where we can explore how each organization can collaborate to support veterans in our local communities.
The majority of Wisconsin Veterans rely on non-VA health care providers. Therefore, it is crucial that community providers of medical, mental health, and social services develop cultural competence to continue to meet the needs of Veterans in the Madison-area.
As the non-profit Community Veterans Engagement Board (CVEB) affiliated with the Madison VA Hospital and Clinics through the national VA Veterans Experience Office (VEO) and like CVEBs across the country, VetsCAN is committed to building a coalition of community organizations and providers. Please join us on Nov. 20 to learn about VetsCAN, the needs of Veterans in our community, and how each of us can be a part of the movement forward.
