VetsCAN is a community collaboration of advocates working to address Veteran issues in South-Central Wisconsin and Northern Illinois by leveraging the strengths of local stakeholders to maximize our collective impact. Working closely with Madison’s William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital and Clinics, community mental and physical health providers, and Veteran advocates, VetsCAN raises awareness, provides thought leadership, and develops effective solutions to minimize gaps in benefits and services that Veterans may experience. We are committed to helping educate the civilian community of providers to learn how to better identify and meet the needs of Veterans who are already within their patient group or service constituency.
VetsCAN is recognized by the VA’s Office of Veteran Engagement as the official Community Veteran Engagement Board (CVEB) affiliated with Madison’s VA Hospital.
