FOCUS: VA Veteran Directed Care Program

In addition to updates from staff of the Madison VA Hospital, Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs and others, we will learn about the VA’s Veteran Directed Care Program, a VA purchased care program that enables Veterans to remain in their home versus a long term care facility. Andrea Bonaparte, VA Hospital Social Worker will share lead us through understanding the program and eligibility for this program that provides Veterans the opportunity to receive personal care services and help with activities of daily living while aging comfortable in their homes. Given our aging Veteran population, this is a forum not to miss!
