FOCUS TOPIC: End of Life Care for Veterans

Join us on September 18 at 3 p.m. for this virtual Community Engagement Forum presented by VetsCAN.

We will explore things to consider to prepare for end-of-life care. We will be joined by Corrina McVay, Care Transition Coordinator for St. Croix Hospice, to talk about end of life care for Veterans. Author and Life Doula Marggie Moertl, BSN, RN of Embrace Your Inner Self, will share information about doula services though the end of life journey. Also invited is Holly Berkovitz, Palliative Care Coordinator at the Madison VA Hospital. Additionally, representatives from the VA Hospital, Wis. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, and others are invited to provide general updates and announcements from their organizations.
