Join us on October 16 at 3 p.m. for this virtual Community Engagement Forum presented by VetsCAN.
A Fisher House is a comfort home in a network of houses located near military and VA medical centers, providing free lodging for the families of active-duty service members and veterans while their loved ones receive medical care. Efforts are in the works to establish a Fisher House to support those receiving treatment at the Madison VA Hospital. Once this project gets moving, organizations and individuals will have an opportunity to donate time, effort, and funds to ensure success in providing Veterans’ loved ones a free, safe, and comfortable living space so they can focus on their Veteran’s recovery.
Our guest will be Steven Rose, Executive Director of Fisher House Wisconsin, the local non-profit behind the effort.
