Introducing and Promoting VA-Community Coalition

This event will bring together Madison VA Hospital Executive Director Christine Kleckner, key hospital staff, community advocates, and organizations that are part of the growing VetsCAN coalition.

Please join us for 90 minutes of learning, intentional networking, and light refreshments.

The majority of Wisconsin Veterans rely on non-VA health care providers. Therefore, it is crucial that community providers of medical, mental health, and social services develop cultural competence to better meet the needs of Veterans in the Madison-area.

As the non-profit Community Veterans Engagement Board (CVEB) affiliated with the Madison VA Hospital and Clinics through the national VA Veterans Experience Office (VEO) and like CVEBs across the country, VetsCAN is committed to building a coalition of community organizations and providers.
