DESCRIPTION:FOCUS TOPIC: Healing Warrior Hearts\nCLICK HERE FOR AGENDA and ZOON CONNECTION INFO \nJoin us on April 16 at 3 p.m. for this virtual Community Engagement Forum presented by VetsCAN. \nOur guest will be Patricia Clason\, Founder and Director of Healing Warrior Hearts. \nPatricia Clason is the founder and director of Healing Warrior Hearts\, a nonprofit program providing free retreats that support emotional healing for military veterans and their families. With more than three decades of experience leading these retreats and serving the veteran community in Wisconsin\, Patricia is also a certified Peer Specialist and Mental Health First Aid instructor. Her work combines compassionate care with practical education to foster resilience\, connection\, and hope among veterans and those who support them. \nPresentation Description \nIn this session\, Patricia will introduce Healing Warrior Hearts and share how its free retreats help veterans heal the invisible wounds of military service through peer support and community connection. She will also highlight the Mental Health First Aid trainings\, funded by a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs\, designed specifically for veterans and those who work with or care for them. The grant provides free training for 120 Wisconsin resident veterans.
